Detailed day-by-day itinerary
Start times remain flexible until travel dates and hotel locations are confirmed. We deliberately state long days and local-vehicle handovers instead of hiding them in the fine print.
Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar · lake and gardens
Airport welcome, hotel or houseboat check-in, then an easy afternoon around Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Finish with a private Shikara ride at sunset. We keep the first day light in case your flight is delayed.
Day 2: Pahalgam day excursion
Drive through Pampore and the Lidder valley. Choose Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari with the locally permitted vehicle association; your driver helps coordinate the handover and timing. Return to Srinagar after an unhurried riverside stop.
Day 3: Gulmarg meadows and Gondola
Travel via Tangmarg to Gulmarg. Walk the meadow, visit the church area and use pre-booked Gondola tickets if available. Snow vehicles or chained tyres may be needed in winter and are confirmed according to the road order.
Day 4: Sonamarg and Sindh valley
Follow the Sindh River to Sonamarg. Depending on season and access, explore the main meadow, Thajiwas side or approved onward points with local transport. Return before evening traffic builds.
Day 5: Srinagar market and departure
A flexible departure morning for Lal Chowk, Polo View or a craft stop when flight timing permits. Airport transfer is planned with Srinagar’s security checks and traffic buffer in mind.

Can the Glimpse of Kashmir itinerary be customised?
Yes. Nights, route, hotel category, meal plan and pickup point can be changed. We confirm whether a requested change is sensible for the season and driving time before quoting.
Are flights and activity tickets included?
Flights are not included. Gondola, pony, skiing, monument and other activity tickets are included only when the final written quote names them.
What happens if a road or pass closes?
Mountain routes can change with weather, maintenance or security orders. We first adjust the sequence or use a safe alternative; any material cost change is discussed before it is incurred.
Is this a fixed-departure group tour?
No. The standard version is a private trip for your party with a dedicated vehicle. Group departures are offered only when clearly stated.
How is the final price calculated?
The final price reflects travel dates, hotel category, number and age of travelers, vehicle type, meal plan, permits and separately regulated local services.
