Route designed by local operators
What this journey is really like
A balanced classic circuit with two nights beside the Lidder River rather than rushing Pahalgam as a day trip. This is a planning framework, not a rigid bus-tour schedule. The day order can move when weather, road controls, flight times or accommodation availability make another sequence safer and more enjoyable.
- Two unhurried nights in Pahalgam
- Classic Gulmarg and Sonamarg excursions
- Private intercity cab throughout
- Houseboat option in Srinagar
- Local assistance for Pahalgam vehicles
- Custom hotel category and meal plan

Detailed day-by-day itinerary
Start times remain flexible until travel dates and hotel locations are confirmed. We deliberately state long days and local-vehicle handovers instead of hiding them in the fine print.
Day 1: Srinagar arrival and Dal Lake
Meet your driver at the airport and settle into your Srinagar stay. Visit the Mughal garden belt if time allows and take a private Shikara ride through quieter lake channels.
Day 2: Gulmarg day trip
Drive to Gulmarg for meadow walks and an optional Gondola experience. Your plan includes realistic queues, ticket slots and seasonal transfer requirements rather than an overpacked sightseeing list.
Day 3: Sonamarg day trip
Travel along the Sindh River for mountain scenery and seasonal snow or meadow experiences. Local taxis or pony services, where required, are paid or arranged at the destination.
Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam
Check out after breakfast and drive via Pampore and Awantipora. Reach Pahalgam with time for the riverfront, market and a restful evening instead of squeezing every valley into arrival day.
Day 5: Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari
Use an authorised local vehicle for Pahalgam’s side valleys. Choose two or three sectors according to road status, interest and season; a short walk or café stop is built into the day.
Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar departure
Leave with a generous airport buffer. For a late flight, a short saffron or craft stop can be added without risking the departure.

Frequently asked questions
Can the Kashmir 6 Days · Srinagar & Pahalgam itinerary be customised?
Yes. Nights, route, hotel category, meal plan and pickup point can be changed. We confirm whether a requested change is sensible for the season and driving time before quoting.
Are flights and activity tickets included?
Flights are not included. Gondola, pony, skiing, monument and other activity tickets are included only when the final written quote names them.
What happens if a road or pass closes?
Mountain routes can change with weather, maintenance or security orders. We first adjust the sequence or use a safe alternative; any material cost change is discussed before it is incurred.
Is this a fixed-departure group tour?
No. The standard version is a private trip for your party with a dedicated vehicle. Group departures are offered only when clearly stated.
How is the final price calculated?
The final price reflects travel dates, hotel category, number and age of travelers, vehicle type, meal plan, permits and separately regulated local services.
